Privacy Policy — DevCleaner Remote
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy explains how FINNOVA LTD ("we") handles information in connection with DevCleaner Remote (the "App"), the iPhone and iPad companion to DevCleaner for Mac, in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What we collect
Nothing. The App has no accounts, analytics, advertising, crash reporting or tracking, and it never sends data to us or to any third party.
What the App does with your data
- Connection to your Mac: the App connects only to the address you enter — your own Mac running the DevCleaner bridge, on your local network or through Tailscale. It sends the username and password you type, and the cleaning actions you choose, directly to that Mac.
- Mac statistics: your Mac sends back its name, memory, CPU and disk usage so the App can display them. This information stays on your device and your Mac.
- Storage: the App does not save your address, username or password. They are kept in memory only while the App is open.
- Local network permission: iOS asks for permission to access your local network so the App can reach your Mac. It is used for nothing else.
Third parties
If you connect through Tailscale, traffic between your devices travels over your own Tailscale network, and Tailscale's privacy policy applies to that service. We do not receive any of it.
Children
The App is a utility for Mac owners and is not directed at children.
